Sulfinert® and Dursan® – Precision and Stability at the Highest Level
Sulfinert® employs a highly advanced CVD process to create an ultra-thin, exceptionally inert silicon-based coating on stainless steel and other metallic surfaces. The resulting surface is so chemically stable that even highly reactive substances – including sulphur compounds, ammonia and mercury – neither adsorb nor react.
The result is maximum signal integrity, uncompromised measurement accuracy and reliable process control, even at concentrations in the low ppm and ppb range. Dursan® perfectly complements Sulfinert® by combining outstanding chemical inertness with exceptional mechanical durability and excellent temperature resistance. This creates robust, long-lasting piping systems that maintain the highest levels of precision, even under demanding process conditions.

Electropolished for Maximum Purity and Reliability
Electropolishing is an electrochemical surface-finishing process that produces exceptionally smooth, high-gloss surfaces. As a result, product residues, contaminants and microorganisms have minimal opportunity to adhere.
By reducing surface roughness, electropolishing minimizes the risk of cross-contamination and significantly reduces or eliminates memory effects caused by substances remaining on the surface. This makes it an essential quality standard for high-purity and corrosive applications in industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals and food production. Our coated pipes provide reliable protection against external influences such as chemical exposure, including seawater, as well as mechanical stresses encountered during installation and operation. This makes them an ideal choice for pneumatic and hydraulic applications. Featuring an efficient extruded outer jacket, these products offer outstanding durability and long-term performance. Available with colour coding for identification and signalling purposes and supplied in continuous lengths of up to 1,000 metres on wooden reels, they enable fast installation, simplified handling and maximum operational efficiency.

A Smarter Alternative to Conventional Insulation
The integrated insulation minimizes heat and cold losses during the transport of media over longer distances while also providing effective mechanical protection. In steam applications, it prevents high surface temperatures from being transferred directly to the outside of the pipe, reducing the risk of material damage, improving personnel safety and helping to maintain required temperature classes in hazardous areas.
Factory-applied insulation eliminates the need for separate insulation work during installation and can be flexibly configured with a wide range of pipe and line combinations. Typical applications include condensate return lines, steam supply lines and process lines with small nominal diameters.
The result is faster installation, lower overall costs and maximum flexibility – all within a single, integrated system.

This prevents temperatures from falling below critical limits and ensures stable operating conditions within a defined temperature range.
