Where the heat is on.
Process and emission measurements in steel and metallurgical engineering are almost as complex a challenge as the manufacturing process itself.
In addition to the original task of ore processing and pig iron and steel production, coking technology and energy generation are two other important fields in which measurements must be carried out stably and reliably for environmental and process engineering reasons.

Special challenges
Things get hot in the manufacturing processes of the steel industry! In addition, many of the samples taken and samples prepared are exposed to enormous levels of pollutants, dust and dirt.
Extremely high temperatures, high concentrations of dust containing heavy metals, as well as toxic, corrosive and sometimes explosive gas components pose a major challenge for accurate, reliable gas analysis.
Despite the adverse conditions, the PSG Plus probe can be operated with very low maintenance and reliability thanks to the option of a large two-stage backwash in conjunction with the largest filter surface on the market.
Sample gas lines with robust metal corrugated outer sheath and replaceable inner cores ensure high availability and long-term stability of the measurements.
Last but not least, sample gas conditioning can be individually adapted to the respective application using the PSG Plus MAK 10 cooler with optional add-ons such as a filter, pre-separator, liquid and flow alarm and sample gas pump – the patented heat exchanger finally ensures optimum cooling or drying of the sample gas to a stable outlet dew point.
In addition, PSG has been supplying turnkey solutions for over 30 years with worldwide references, ranging from small processing systems on mounting plates to entire analysis houses and containers.
