Precise measurement despite dust and heat
Cement, one of the world’s most important building materials, is very energy-intensive in its production process. This energy requirement is met by using a wide variety of firing materials. However, this also results in extremely aggressive, extremely dusty process gases.
On the other hand, two facts in particular are crucial for the operator: precise operation and high plant utilization. This can be ensured by reliable gas analysis, among other things. However, this places very high demands on the equipment used.

Special challenges
The demands placed on sampling and sample preparation in cement works in particular are enormous: high dust loads and temperatures, as well as extremely aggressive gases, require the correct configuration of the gas sampling probe and also the sample gas preparation. The extremely harsh environmental conditions must also be taken into account.
This is where the PSG Plus probe with its extensive expansion options, such as the unique large-dimensioned backwash with 12 mm piping, offers an optimum solution.
The heated sample gas lines PSG Process Extruded Flex with metal outer sheath are also adapted to the harsh environmental conditions in the cement plant.
The sample gas conditioning units in the PSG Plus cooler MAK 10 series with their patented corrosion-resistant PTFE/PVDF heat exchangers are also optimally designed for aggressive gases.
The highest requirements – just right for PSG components.
In addition, PSG has been supplying turnkey solutions for over 30 years with worldwide references, ranging from small processing systems on mounting plates to entire analysis houses and containers.
