Mastering challenges
In gas and steam turbine power plants, the dust levels in the sample gas are often low. The situation is different for coal and oil-fired power plants, where higher dust loads in the sample pose a greater challenge.
The PSG Basic and PSG Plus gas sampling probes are used here: thanks to the largest filter surface on the market, all measurements in the power plant can be operated with low maintenance.
When producing green hydrogen, it is important to maintain a precise dew point in order to avoid water interference with online analyzers such as the thermal conductivity detector.
When conditioning (cooling) the gas, the compact sample gas conditioning system of the PSG Plus MAK series can be used to carry out the measuring operation almost without interruption and with low maintenance, both via cooling and further filtration of the sample gas.
The PSG analysis cables, which can be shortened on site, are a further added value.
