Putting Innovation on the Road
Processing and measurement technology for engine test benches has been under particular scrutiny, not least since the high-profile emissions scandal. Engine and catalytic converter manufacturers rely on highly accurate data for both research and development.
Meeting the ever-increasing demands placed on exhaust gas treatment systems in engine test benches requires continuous innovation – and this is exactly where PSG puts its horsepower on the road. The company offers a unique range of solutions for both test gas transport and gas conditioning (cooling).

Meeting Challenges
Time is money on engine test benches as well. The specially developed PSG Plus Flex and PSG Basic Flex analyzer lines feature an exceptionally robust design, ensuring durability and reliability even under extreme operating conditions. This minimizes failures and reduces system downtime.
When it comes to cooling sample gases, preventing leaching is a key challenge. The specially designed glass heat exchangers used in the MAK 10 sample gas cooler ensure a precise outlet dew point while minimizing the leaching of gases such as NO2.
PSG trace heating technology also makes it possible to maintain the required temperature of exhaust tunnels and sample bags on site – preventing condensation from forming in the first place.
